Zoe spoke to The Verb at the World Climate Summit, a side event of COP16, in Cancún, to give us dummies the low down on climate change.
About Zoe:
Zoe Caron is co-author of ‘Climate Change for Dummies’, and current Climate Policy and Advocacy Specialist for WWF-Canada.
She has been involved with climate change for most of her life, and has worked with a variety of non-profit companies and organisations on sustainability, education and social mobilisation. These include Taking it Global, Zerofootprint Group, Students on Ice Expeditions, Energy Action Coalition and Carbon Zero.
Zoe was a co-founder of the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition and worked as a research associate with the Eco-Efficiency Centre at Dalhousie University. She currently is the President of the Board of Directors for the Sierra Club Canada.
With an academic background in international development and environmental science, Zoë has been named as one of the “Top 30 Under 30” to watch in Halifax, the “Top 50 Green List” of leading environmentalists in Canada, and among “Global Citizens” in Vanity Fair’s Green Issue.
