Hamza Tahiri is a consultant in the energy sector. After his studies in France and Singapore, he moved to China and worked for the French government in the renewable energy sector in Beijing. While studying the solar panel industry, he noticed the unsustainable aspect of this green technology, as all the manufacturing waste and end of life panels ended in landfills. In order to make a positive contribution to the society and the environment, he created a startup, focusing R&D on innovative recycling process as well as collection methods in Europe. In addition to being a contributor to The Verb, he is also a member of the Global Shapers community from the World Economic Forum and an Emerging Leader in Environmental and Energy Policies from the Atlantic Council think tank.
